While working for Ilka Studio, I was involved with a project for the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival (SMHAF). The festival, now in its 16th year, takes place throughout Scotland and showcases a diverse range of cultural events including film, music, literature, dance, visual art and theatre.
In 2022, SMHAF explored the theme of 'Gather'. To suit this theme I created a bank of illustrations that demonstrate how people can gather together both physically and mentally through all of the different events that SMHAF provides.
Writers book
As a freelancer, I worked with the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival on a book to celebrate the shortlisted entries of their creative writing competition. I designed and illustrated the book, creating pieces to reflect the difficult subject areas looked at in the stories.
